Ohaupo means 'the place of the night winds', Which describes my home in Poranui Beach. The result is a strange blending of different energies and emotions interacting with physical nature elements such as stones, leaves and paua shell. This work is part of a concept I have been working on, that of interactive art. Art that can inspire peoples own creativity, like building blocks for grown-ups. For this reason we have wired the pieces on each side so they can hang any way and in any formation.
